Ferrari's Siena Cold Brew Coffee Review

March 08, 2024 | 2 Minute Read

Whenever I got to TK Maxx, I always check what they have on offer in the coffee section.  This time, I think I found a diamond in the rough when I discovered a locally based coffee From Ferrari's in Bridgend, South Wales.

The one I found was Ferrari's Siena Coffee, and it was labelled as Extra strong, which got my attention.

This is an Extra Dark Roast from Bridgend. It is full of bold and intense flavours, with notes of dark chocolate and roasted walnuts.

Setup of the Ferrari's Siena Coffee

I found the sweet spot of 190 grams of coffee to 1.3 litres of coffee for the new OXO cold Brew Coffee Maker.

I let it brew for around 12 hours and then letting it slowly drip.

The Taste

The best way I can explain the taste of the Ferrari's Siena is a classic cup of coffee.  Just as you would find in a café in a classic hot cup of coffee, this cold brew came out just like that.

That's a good thing as sometimes, all you want is a classic cup of coffee and every time i had a cup, it hit the spot.

Considerations

Its £18 for 1 kg of whole beans with free p+p online and, like me, you can potentially get this cheaper too.  If the latter is the case, snap it up, as it makes a good cup of cold brew.

The Score

Overall, I will give it 4 beans out of 5.
